Innovation has been the hallmark of American Business. It is very timely (especially in these challenging times) that we reignite the flame of passion to reinvent the way we do things and bring this strength to GPSEG as a key subject matter.
Philadelphia can be recognized as a center of excellence to be relevant to the next phase of change catalyzed by new ideas that are brought to profitable fruition.
This GPSEG sub-group focused on the importance of Innovation in various aspects…Innovation has been the hallmark of American Business. It is very timely (especially in these challenging times) that we reignite the flame of passion to reinvent the way we do things and bring this strength to GPSEG as a key subject matter.
Philadelphia can be recognized as a center of excellence to be relevant to the next phase of change catalyzed by new ideas that are brought to profitable fruition.
This GPSEG sub-group focused on the importance of Innovation in various aspects of business, enterprise and institutions. The Innovation Leadership Forum will work in collaboration with various GPSEG sub-groups as well as external organizations/groups.
Three (3) GPSEG Innovation Forums each year (first forum in April 2012) leading up to an Annual GPSEG Leadership & Innovation Conference (first Conference to be scheduled for Summer of 2013).
Each evening Innovation Forum will be structured as follows:
? Keynote speaker(s) with target innovation experiences
? Panel of senior leadership with moderated and open question & answer session
? Networking opportunities before and after the Forum
The Annual GPSEG Leadership & Innovation Conference will be a Full Day long event structured like the Forums with the addition of breakout sessions for key threads, breaks/lunch, and awards during the conference banquet dinner.

The assessment uses a series of questions based on risk management, project management, system engineering, architecture, and testing disciplines to probe projects and solicit objective responses with scores and a conversion of the score into a red…
Disclosed are a method and system for assessing the status of a project that remove subjectivity from the status reporting by implementing an algorithm to calculate red, yellow, green status of each of a multitude of keys and the overall project. The assessment uses a series of questions based on risk management, project management, system engineering, architecture, and testing disciplines to probe projects and solicit objective responses with scores and a conversion of the score into a red, yellow, green status. The advantage to this solution is that a consistent standard is provided, eliminating the accidental or purposeful exclusion of key details in status reporting that frequently result in a more optimistic status than what reality should reflect.
