We’ve made updates to ensure that when you embed a LinkedIn post in third-party sites, they look more polished and are easier to engage with. These enhancements include a cleaner design, a compact preview option, and clearer recognition that the content comes from LinkedIn — helping you build trust with your audience.

You can embed content from LinkedIn (desktop only) and distribute it online. You can embed text posts, first-party or third-party articles, images, videos, live videos, and document posts.

To embed a post from LinkedIn on desktop:

  1. Navigate to the post you want to embed.
  2. Click the ??? More icon in the upper-right corner of the post.

  3. Click Embed this post.
  4. Select one of the following:

    • When embedding a post, you can choose between Embed with less text or Embed full post to better fit the layout of your site. For video posts, you can select Embed video only to highlight the video without any accompanying post text.
  5. In the Embed this post pop-up window, click Copy code.

    • You’ll receive a notification in the lower-left corner of the page stating that the code has been copied to your clipboard.
  6. Close the Embed this post pop-up window.

Notes:

  • We don’t offer the option to embed multi-photo posts or reposts with commentary.

  • Notifications won’t be sent to the author of the post when you embed their content.

  • Only posts that an author has shared as Public can be embedded.

  • If an author deletes the content you’ve embedded, the embeds will also get deleted.
